High School: La Costa Canyon (Encinitas, CA)

Class: 2018

Position: Quarter Back (DT)

When did you first develop a passion for football?

I started at 8 or 9 playing flag football. My dad made me choose number 29 because he loved Eric Dickerson, so naturally my first position was running back. I played a few other positions as well, but slowly I felt myself gravitate to QB.

Dream School:

Texas Christian University

Favorite College Football Player:

Johnny Manziel when he was at A&M

Pregame Routine:

I like to get a prayer in with my teammates before the game. We also all blast Bro Hymn by Pennywise in the locker room and go crazy before we walk out.

Greatest High School Game:

Last year, I threw for 280 yards and a couple TD’s against our rival Torrey Pines. It was one of the biggest games of the year for our team, so I was proud to ball out for our team and help us win.

What is the Stat You Are Most Proud Of?

It’s more of an achievement than a stat, but this offseason I made the top 50 high school players in San Diego.

What is the Best Coaching Advice You Have Ever Received?

Stick to what you do. FINISH what you started and never quit

What is the One Thing You Want College Coaches to Know About You?

I have a good sense of humor and will bring life to the team. I can be serious when I need to, but I will definitely help the team loosen up and play their hardest.
